Melinda is familiar with addressing a client’s psycho/social /spiritual wellness, and takes a systems approach to info gathering. A lifelong Catholic Christian, Melinda also has further training with integrating faith based & religious strengths with psychology to work through challenging situations for clients who so choose.

Melinda’s experiences are extensive in healthcare casework. She counsels people who are medically compromised, diagnosed with a rare disease, terminally ill, and their caregivers and family. She also explores and helps resolve medical trauma.

With foundational knowledge in the Creighton Model FertilityCare System,  she is the most effective therapist to resolve the emotional and mental affects of  infertility, miscarriage, still birth, labor trauma, post partum depression, and breast feeding struggles

Melinda is also skillful processing TRAUMA with clients in incidents of abuse, bullying, abortion regret, community violence, disasters, healthcare and first responder work, vehicular crashes, traumatic grief, and more. 

Other areas of experience include life stage transitions, negative beliefs and self perception, career or sports performance enhancement, general anxiety, and situational or chronic stress.
